NaNoWriMo comes to NC Library

What is NaNoWriMo? It is National Novel Writing Month. NC Library is delighted to host the NaNoWriMo writers for a 2 hour write-in. Anyone interested in writing fiction or non fiction, in any genre, is welcome. Please be sure to bring your laptops and power cords (paper and pens are welcome, too). Fast writing sprints are the norm so you leave with pages and pages of story on paper. More>>

Tuesday, 11/22 2-4pm

All technology questions, queries and interests are welcome. From questions about social media, email, smart phones, or accessing our digital library, get one-on-one assistance with a tech librarian. Register by calling 203-594-3620. Join members of the Norwalk Symphony Orchestra to learn about the different aspects of an orchestra. Best for families with elementary school-aged children. The holidays are coming! Our Brass Quintet (Trumpets, Trombone, Horn and Tuba) will ring in the time of year with some uplifting sounds for the holidays. More>>

As we wrap up the #MyChangeCounts project, don’t forget to bring your change to the Children's Library. Once you’ve dropped it off, you can collect your stickers! 

Parents, here’s how you can support this project too:

- Bring collection cans back to the Children’s Library & drop your change in the collection tubes.

We’re building the New New Canaan Library! Our current library building remains open and operational, but our onsite parking lot is now largely closed. A limited number of accessible and short-term parking spots remain. Free Library parking is available in designated spots in the Center School Lot, accessible from South Avenue.
