The Regulatory Compliance Division has recently issued a determination letter for the following rules:

• Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, Title 43 Texas Administrative Code §§215.133 and 215.140 (RCD Rule Review #2022-012)

The division has approved the proposed rules, which amend the pre-licensing requirements for General Distinguishing Number (GDN) dealers. The approved proposals affect new and renewal dealer applicants and include updates to application requirements and business premises requirements for a dealer to establish a permanent place of business.
