PARK SPOTLIGHT

Veterans Memorial Park

The City of Oldsmar's 9th park appropriately opened on Veterans Day in 2006 on six-acres of land, specifically dedicated to honor and salute residents who serve in our nation's armed services. Although many pass their time in the shaded gazebo, the central focus of the park is the Veterans Monument. Standing 14-feet high, it's surrounded by granite walls engraved with the names of Oldsmar veterans. The All-Wars Monument honors those who served in major wars & conflicts. A Battlefield Cross and Purple Heart Monument serve as reminders of those whose bravery will never be forgotten.

The park also offers many amenities, such as outdoor exercise equipment and a bocce court. Library patrons can check out bocce equipment for free with a Library card. The park also features a coastline boat launch for canoes, kayaks & stand up boards.

Veterans Day Celebration

HONORING OUR VETERANS

Join city officials and the Oldsmar community to celebrate those who have served our country. A special roll call of newly inscribed names on the Veterans Wall makes this event one to remember for the Oldsmar veterans who will be announced.

This annual celebration is free to attend. All are encouraged to join the City to thank our service men and women
