Strategic Planning Committee
Assesses Needs for Next 3 Years!

A group of dedicated staff and community members has come together to create a road map for our future. The Strategic Planning Committee seeks to preserve and advance the mission of PVSS through foresighted decisions informed by donors, clients, waitlist numbers, and the examination of county-wide homelessness trends. On a recent Saturday, the Committee joined by the staff and board, reviewed the research and determined areas of importance. As the group weaved its way through survey and interview notes, themes emerged and priorities were set. There's still much work to be done but look for the final plan to be announced in early July.

PVSS Board Wants You!

Are you concerned about family homelessness in our area? Do you want to be a leader in helping children and their parents have safe, stable housing? Consider joining the PVSS Board and be part of the solution!

The Board of Directors at PVSS represents an engaged, passionate, diverse, fearless, and self-directed group of cross-sector stakeholders. As a team we work to end homelessness for more than 200 children and their parents in the Pajaro Valley each year. To apply now, go to www.pvshelter.org/board-service/ or call Mike Johnson, Executive Director at (831) 728-5649 ext 102 for more information.
