Corpus Christi, TX – The Ben F. McDonald Library welcomes the group Mariachi Mexicanisimo as part of its ongoing concert series on Wednesday, May 25, from 5:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at 4044 Greenwood Drive. The group will pay tribute to our nation’s fallen heroes with a special performance at no cost to the public. The monthly concert series recently resumed performances at the library after being suspended since 2019 due to COVID-19.

Mike Chavez, a former Domingo Live host, will act as master of ceremonies for the event.

Concert goers can also tour the La Musica del Sur de Tejas (The Music of South Texas) photo gallery featuring Manuel Ayala’s Music Archives. The photo exhibit features people integral in the evolution of Tejano music in South Texas and includes nearly 70 inductees. The display is open during regular library hours and is also free to the public.
