Prescott Park Arts Festival
an independent non-profit arts organization serving the greater seacoast community, will return to its idyllic home in Prescott Park along the banks of the Piscataqua this summer with LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS as its signature musical theatre production. Presented by Service Credit Union, the Arts Festival will mount the newer Broadway version with updated compositions, premiering on the Wilcox Main Stage Friday, June 23rd and running each week, most Thursdays through Sundays until August 13th.

The Festival is thrilled to welcome back Service Credit Union as the title sponsor of the musical this summer, after a wonderful partnership in 2022.

“A longtime supporter of the Arts Festival, Service Credit Union was my first phone call when the title sponsorship of our signature summer musical production became available in January 2021,” shared Lee Frank, the Arts Festival’s Development Director, “One of the many great things about partnering with Service CU is that the support doesn't end with their financial commitment. The entire staff steps up and gets involved, it’s truly a team effort. Around 100 team members attended Footloose's final dress rehearsal last June, tables were reserved throughout the season, and Service Credit Union had a real physical presence at the Festival. The financial support makes it possible for the Festival to remain accessible to everyone in our community, and the enthusiasm of the entire Service CU team makes it feel like a true partnership.”

Service Credit Union’s support of the Arts Festival goes back more than a decade. In past seasons they have served as the Movie Night sponsor, Platinum Road Race Platinum sponsors, Popcorn season sponsors, and also sponsored the Festival’s Community Showcase and Camp ENCORE! programs. In 2020, during an obviously dark and uncertain time, Service CU stepped-up as lead sponsor of the Arts Festival’s virtual winter show. In 2021 they held the Best Seat in the House sponsorship and took over the title sponsorship for the signature main stage musical in 2022. To say the partnership has been incredibly meaningful would be an understatement.

“It is important that we support the community through the arts, and Service CU is excited to be back again as the title sponsor of this year’s musical production,” said Jaime Yates, Community Relations Manager at Service CU, “Prescott Park Arts Festival brings so much joy to the town, and to the state, and we look forward to another exciting season.”

This coming season, the Festival’s full-scale production will fill the summer air with retro tunes such as the title song, “Little Shop of Horrors” and “Suddenly Seymour", plus the moving ballad “Somewhere That’s Green,” and the always entertaining, “Git It (Feed Me)”, featuring the enormous life-size plant, lovingly referred to as ‘Audrey II’. Prescott Park Arts Festival remains committed to bringing a diverse and dynamic cast of theater professionals singing and swinging across the stage all summer long.

While all performances in Prescott Park are accessible to all for an optional, suggested donation, reservations for the limited number of VIP tables and blankets for Little Shop of Horrors will open in the Spring. For more information please visit the Arts Festival’s website. www.PrescottPark.org

In addition to the Signature Musical Presented by Service Credit Union, Prescott Park Arts Festival offers the River House Restaurant Concert Series, and the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Monday Night Movie Series. Tables in the VIP Seating Area can be reserved for all of the Festival’s series, in addition to limited blanket reservations, in front of the Wilcox Main Stage. The Best Seat in the House, sponsored by Key Auto Group, is a special seating area at the front of the VIP section that is available for reservation as well.
