CCH is all about building and connecting with community.

Enjoy live performances by:

Quitapenas: Our mystery band is revealed! This tropical Afro-Latin combo borrows aesthetics from the radical 60s, 70s and 80s. Each song echoes a remix of history and invites one to listen to the music of Angola, Peru, Colombia, Brazil and beyond. The mission of QUITAPENAS is simple: to make you dance and leave you without a worry. Using a mix of guitar, saxophone, keyboards, bass, and percussion, they will keep you moving to the music all throughout their performance.

DJ Sonia Sol

Sonia Sol  is a traveling performing artist, DJ, singer, and acrobatic dancer. Born and raised in Hartford, Sonia draws a lot of inspiration from her Jamaican, Lebanese, and Spanish roots throughout her show experience. She uses an eclectic blend of Neo-Soul, Reggae, & R&B sounds. As a DJ, she blends all sounds but loves House, Hip-Hop, and Afrobeats (and will occasionally do a cartwheel)

DJ Mr. Realistic

DJ Mr. Realistic and Real Art Ways have a longstanding relationship! He has been our house DJ for CCH for many years, and is the owner of My House Radio, an internet broadcast radio station focusing on all genres of house music. For June's CCH, Mr. Realistic is putting together a set of LGBTQ anthems.

It Ain't Over

An intimate portrait of a misunderstood American icon, this emotional and uplifting documentary about Yogi Berra takes us beyond the caricatures and “Yogisms,” and into the heart of a sports legend whose unparalleled accomplishments on the baseball diamond were often overshadowed by his off-the-field persona.

98% on Rotten Tomatoes

“A comprehensive encapsulation of an American icon known more for his ubiquitous turns of phrase… than for his exploits on the diamond.” – Washington Post

"It Ain’t Over has two purposes and succeeds delightfully at both. One is to make some sense of the famously self-nullifying sayings… The film’s other purpose is to re-establish Berra’s standing in baseball history.” –

Wall Street Journal

"A lively, engaging, and moving documentary.” – New York Times

98% on Rotten Tomatoes

Asteroid City

The itinerary of a Junior Stargazer/Space Cadet convention (organized to bring together students and parents from across the country for fellowship and scholarly competition) is spectacularly disrupted by world-changing events.

Directed by Wes Anderson.

Starring Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hanks, Steve Carell, Maya Hawke, Willem Dafoe, Jeffrey Wright, and Jason Schwartzman.

"Wes Anderson returns with one of his most dazzling, rich and playfully self-reflexive films to date, brought to eye-popping life by an all-timer ensemble." -

Little White Lies

"Its eccentricity, its elegance, its gaiety, and its sheer profusion of detail within the tableau frame make it such a pleasure." - Guardian

"Anderson’s most disarmingly spiritual film in some time." - Inverse

"There has always been a method to Wes Anderson’s madness, but Asteroid City reminds you that there is also a madness to his method. And that, ultimately, is what makes him a great artist." - New York Magazine
