This year, RetroFest is New and Improved - and Free for All!

Enjoy LIVE music, great food, beer truck, ice cream, vintage displays, variety of family activities & crafts, lots of "retro" activities and demos throughout the day and MUCH MORE vintage fun at RetroFest on the Potomac. Admission is Free For All.

Proceeds, donations, and membership sales from this event support the museum and historic preservation of Piney Point Lighthouse and grounds.

Event Includes:

- Live retro music from Kiti Gartner & the Drifting Valentines (1pm-3pm): https://www.facebook.com/kitigartner/

- "Rockin' House Party" Live Entertainment from Vince "Slimtie" Turner, who will play a full day of period music, news, sports and more as if he were reporting on a vintage radio station! Music includes the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Sonny & Cher and many more!

- Kids & Family Games & Activities

- Food Truck & Ice Cream Truck

- Beer Wagon

- Exhibit on the sunken WWII U-1105 Black Panther German submarine at Piney Point, a Maryland Historic Shipwreck Preserve

- Retro Exhibits, including one about 1940s WWII era Navy items from Southern Maryland

- Free admission to museum, lighthouse and historic park

More Info:

- Parking & Shuttle: All parking will be FREE off-site at Piney Point Elementary School. FREE shuttles will be provided for transportation to the event. Parking opens at 9:30 AM. Shuttles will begin running at 9:45 AM and circulate from parking areas to RetroFest. There will be no public parking at the museum except for vehicles displaying appropriate handicap parking permits.

- No smoking of any kind will be permitted inside the event perimeter or on museum grounds.

- An ATM will be available in the Main Museum Building.

- Only service animals are permitted inside museum buildings.
