LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Today, Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced that she will appoint Tom Fisher to serve as the Arkansas Drug Director.

“As the Biden Administration refuses to secure our southern border – allowing deadly, dangerous drugs like fentanyl to pour in and kill Americans, Arkansas must step up where the federal government has failed,” Sanders said. “That’s why I am proud to be appointing Tom Fisher to serve as the Arkansas Drug Director to coordinate our entire state’s illicit drug response strategy. He brings decades of experience at the intersection of public health and law enforcement that will be an asset to my administration. I look forward to working together as we crack down on killer drug dealers, saving lives across Arkansas.”
