12:00pm - 5:00pm: 4-H Building Open for Booth Construction Only. Note: No sign in of projects.

Sunday, August 7, 2022

4-H Beef, Dairy, and Horse Penning and All Open Livestock- Anytime

7:00am - 10:00am: 4-H Market Hog Arrival: Weighing, and Penning

4-H Lamb and Goat Arrival: 7:00am – 5:00pm.  All lambs and Goats must be penned by 5:00pm

9:00am  – 12:00 noon and 5:00pm - 8:00pm: 4-H Poultry and Rabbit Check In

4-H Building: Booth Set-up, 9:00am – 5:00pm. Sign-in noon – 5:00pm

9:00am - 6:00pm: Senior Fair Office Open

12:00pm - 5:00pm: 4-H Building: Still, Clothing, Food and Nutrition, etc. Project Sign-in

1:00pm - 4:00pm: Farm Products Building: Entries accepted for Art, Farm Products, Fruits and Nuts, Culinary, and Needlework Departments

1:00pm: Open Horse Show

Rabbit Building: Market Rabbits Must Be Penned by 5:30pm and Weighed at 6:00pm

6:00pm: Livestock Complex: Weigh 4-H Lambs and Goats

Immediately after Sheep and Goat Weigh in – All specie barn meeting in arena

Monday, August 8, 2022

7:30am: Livestock Complex: All 4-H Beef Projects Must be Penned

8:00am - 12:00pm: Farm Products Building: Entries accepted for Art, Farm Products, Fruits and Nuts, Culinary, and Needlework Departments

8:00am: Livestock Complex: Weigh 4-H Steers

9:00am - 6:00pm: Senior Fair Office Open

9:00am: Poultry Building: 4-H Poultry Show

9:00am - 12:00pm: Tablescapes setup and entries turn in.Judging begins at noon.

9:00am - 12:00pm: 4-H Building: Booth Construction and Project Sign-in

11:00am: Farm Products Building: Flower Show

12:00pm - 3:00pm: 4-H Building: Booth Judging (Building Closed Until Judging Completed)

12:00pm: 4-H Fair Beautification Projects and all other Projects must be registered and in place, Judging of Beautification Projects

3:00pm - 6:00pm: Cloverbud Interviews. Local Talent Showcase Tent

5:00pm: Sheep Show

Grandstand: Introduction of Fair Queen and Court

6:00pm: Farm Products Building: Farm Products, Fruits and Nuts Judging

7:00pm: Grandstand: Entertainment by Fast Traxx MotoCross

7:00pm: Local Talent Showcase Tent: Pine Creek Blue Grass

8:30pm: 4-H Club Glow Parade. Clubs will line up in the South Parking lot.

After Parade – Tablescapes Award ceremony, 4-H Building. Displays may be removed following the ceremony.  Awards forfeited if removed prior to ceremony

9:00am: Livestock Arena:  Working Goat Exhibition

4-H Dairy Goat Show (Immediately following Working Goats)

9:00am - 6:00pm: Senior Fair Office Open

12:00pm: Livestock Arena: Pet Show open to Scioto County children from ages 2 to 12

Rabbit Barn: 4-H Cloverbud Rabbit Show, immediately following 4-H Rabbit Show, but will not start before 2:00 p.m.

3:00pm: Livestock Arena: Breeding and Market Goat Show

5:00pm: Grandstand: Entertainment by – High School Band Showcase

7:00pm: Local Talent Showcase Tent: Frank Grasso

8:00pm: Grandstand: Formal Opening of Fair

Senior Citizen Day: Ages 60 and older – $3.00

9:00am: Livestock Arena: 4-H Dairy Cattle Show

9:00am: Horse Arena: 4-H Contesting Horse Show

10:00am - 2:00pm: Cloverbud Interviews. Local Talent Showcase Tent

12:00pm: Livestock Arena: Open Dairy Show

6:00pm: Livestock Arena: Showman of Showmen Contest, Announcement of Outstanding Exhibitors, Recognition of 4-H Career Achievement

Note: 4-H livestock not participating in any Junior Fair sale may be removed from midnight Friday to 6:00 a.m. Saturday if not entered in any open class show.

7:00pm: Local Talent Showcase Tent: Second Chance

8:00pm: Grandstand: Entertainment by TG Sheppard and T. Graham Brown

9:00am - 6:00pm: Senior Fair Office Open

1:00pm: Livestock Arena: Sale of Champions – Live Auction (Sale Order: Goat, Swine, Rabbit, Sheep, Beef and Poultry). The buyer’s registration table opens at 11:00a.m. (Only the Champion animals from each specie will be sold at this live auction)

Livestock Arena – Barnyard Olympics – Clubs must submit entries by Wednesday at noon

Midnight – 4-H Livestock may be removed

5:00pm: Grandstand: Entertainment by DEMOLITION DERBY

8:00pm: Local Talent Showcase Tent: KC the DJ

Sunday, August 14, 2022

All exhibits may be removed between 12:00 noon and 4:00 p.m.  The Senior Fair Office will be open during these hours for exhibitors to pick up Senior Fair premiums if they are not distributed by the Departmental Superintendents.  All items in any exhibit not removed during these times will be discarded.
