Learning & Play Made Possible by You

Children of all ages can now see and touch artworks on view at the BMA.

The reopening of the Patricia and Mark Joseph Education Center introduces a reimagined approach to arts education. The expanded Center features playful, hands-on installations by artists Derrick Adams, Mary Flanagan, and Pablo Helguera, interactive elements that allow kids to touch and discover artistic materials, and a revamped studio space for dry and wet media art-making activities.

Your donations help us broaden our effort to make art accessible to all. Donations made throughout the year support the creation of free programs for visitors of all ages, including Free Family Sundays, artist talks, Community Days, and opportunities for free admission to special exhibitions.

This year, we welcomed:

5,504 visitors to adult programs

4,272 pre-K to 12th grade students and educators on guided tours

2,361 visitors during Community Days

1,803 family programming visitors

242 teacher workshop participants

We can accomplish even more with your support. Donate today or support the BMA by joining or renewing your Membership.
