Sequoyah Regional Library System Newsletter - December 2022

Schools and Libraries

December 2, 2022

From: Sequoyah Regional Library System

The Sequoyah is a monthly publication of the Sequoyah Regional Library System.

Dear SRLS Community,

Our libraries are embracing the season with a whole month of Holiday programming in December. Bring the family and friends to your favorite library (or visit each one!) for treats, games, crafts, music, and entertainment. Be sure to check your Christmas lists twice, because Santa and Mrs. Claus themselves will be visiting to meet, greet, and take photos with guests. Feeling festive, but not in the mood to decorate? Drop by our Gilmer and R.T. Jones locations anytime this month to view dozens of trees decorated by local businesses and organizations in your community. Whether you’re joining us in your PJs for Polar Express or in your party hats as we countdown to “Noon” Year’s Eve, we can’t wait to celebrate the holiday season with you.

It’s Time for Winter Literacy!

Why should summer get to have all the fun? Reading is entertaining all year long! This winter, visit your local library and curl up with a good book while earning badges on your BINGO card. The fun lasts from December 1 through January 31! Participate in this special reading challenge (via the Beanstack app or by picking up a BINGO card at your local library) and win special prizes along the way!
