The Solstice Festival celebrates the longest day of the year and is the official start to the summer cycling season in Manitowish Waters.
Whether preparing for a week-long tour or charity ride, training for a summer of competitive racing, or simply getting the family out for an organized ride, the Solstice Festival has perfect courses and activities to offer. After a day in the saddle, stick around for a party in the park, featuring live music, food, drinks and more.

Weekend Schedule

June 16, 2023

Kick-Off

5-7pm: Check-In and Registration at Koller Park

Check-in and have some fun with family, friends and other riders at Koller Park located in Manitowish Waters. Take an evening ride on the Heart of Vilas
County paved trails or just relax next to beautiful Rest Lake.

June 17, 2023

Rides

New This Year! All rides will start and finish at Koller Park. This means more energy, more excitement and more fun for everyone. Then be sure to hang out after the ride for beer, food, and games with all proceeds supporting local nonprofit organizations.

10am: Half-Century Ride (50ish Miles)
10:15am: Cranberry Ride (29ish Miles)
10:30: Family Fun Ride (up to 12 Miles)
10:45: Buswell Loop (15ish Miles)
Noon: Party in the Park

Winman Mountain Bike Demo

10am - 12pm: FREE Mountain Bike Demo and Guided Rides

Join the staff of WinMan Trails and River's Edge Outfitters for a FREE mountain bike demo day and guided beginner trail rides.

This will be a great opportunity to try out a brand new bike or give mountain biking a try for the first time.
