Fall Fest is a farmer's market, a craft show, an art contest, all rolled into one and sprinkled with food trucks and family-friendly autumn themed activities.

1 PM-3 PM: Sparta Fall Fest 6th Annual Chili Cook-Off at Park Bank Parking Lot

Calling all chili cooks, connoisseurs, and children of all ages! Register your chili now for a chance to go down in history as one of Sparta's BEST CHILI COOKS!

Chili! Whatever that means to you. We recommend~4 gallons in a full sized roaster. Bring your best chili and any and all sides to entice the judges and public to crown your chili the winner.

Cost: $20 per team (We ask for at least 2 people to assist in serving)

8 AM to 2 PM: Fall Fest Street Graffiti

Participants can register to chalk up a masterpiece alone, with a friend, or as a family. For a modest registration fee of $25, participants receive an assigned 9 foot by 8 foot concrete canvas along Water Street, and an event bag containing chalk. In an effort to ensure we have enough supplies, pre-registration is advised with a deadline of Tuesday, October 4th. Registration will raise to $40 as of October 4th and the day of and during the event as "walk ons". All registrations are taken on a first come first served basis.

You may bring extra materials such as stencils and pencils. To keep materials fair and safe for the street, we must ask that you do not use any other chalk or art material than what we provide.

Remember that it will be a long day sitting on the pavement. We encourage you to bring snacks, water, chair and/or cushion, sunscreen, sunglasses. Anything you need to remain safe and comfortable in weather conditions for a fall day in Wisconsin.

Judging: Judging will begin at 2:30 PM by a panel of 3 judges. A first place prize will be awarded for each category.
