8am - 11am: Breakfast (by SHS Senior Parents) - Stayton Community Center Parking Lot

Proceeds benfit the Stayton High School Class of 2023 Senior All Night Graduation Party. Adults, $10 Children $8. Pancakes, eggs, sausage links, juice, coffee cooked by Stayton Firefighters.

9am: Stayton Fun Run/Walk (by Boy Scouts)

3K Walk/Run, 5K Trail Run, 10K Trail Run - Runs start at 9am at the Stayton Community Center Parking Lot. $10 advance registration online, or $15 day of race registration 7:30am-8:30am. Sign up online.

4pm: Stayton Grand Parade

Parade Grand Marshal:

Major General (Ret) Julie Bentz will serve as the Grand Marshal of this year's parade. MG (ret) Bentz was born and raised on her family’s Blue Den Ranch between Jordan and Scio, where she has returned after retiring from a distinguished 33-year military service career. She is a 1982 graduate of Regis High School and a 1986 Graduate of Oregon State University through the ROTC program.

Major General Julie Bentz retired from the U.S. Army in 2019 after a successful career spanning active, reserve and National Guard commissioned service.  She has been a recurring member of the White House National Security Council Staff and Homeland Security Council for the Executive Office of the President.  While working at the White House, her roles included Senior Advisor for Emerging Technologies, Deputy Senior Director for Weapons of Mass Destruction, Director of Strategic Capabilities, and Director of Nuclear Defense Policy.  MG (ret) Bentz currently serves on the Avista Energy Corporation Board of Directors as well as on advisory boards for the Nation’s nuclear weapons laboratories.  She holds a M.S. in National Security Strategy from the National Defense University, a Ph.D. and M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Missouri, and a B.A. in Radiological Health from Oregon State University.

5:30 - 9:30pm: Salem R/C Pilots Association

?Salem R/C Pilots Association will have a display booth through the evening showcasing some of their larger gas powered planes. They also will be doing some flight demonstrations between 6 and 8:30pm at the north end of the event field using Helicopters, and some smaller electric fixed wing planes for Pylon Racing demonstrations.

5:30 - 9:30pm: Skills Challenge - Soccer Goal Kick, Disc Golf Throw and Football Pass attempts on the turf field.

7:30 - 9:30pm: Live Music - Tony Graham

Dusk (Around 9:45-10pm): Fireworks Display - Stayton High School Grounds

No alcohol, smoking, vaping, weapons, personal fireworks or pets are allowed on the event grounds and school property.
