From: Stonington GalleryOur annual Group Glass Exhibit Luminosity OPENS TODAY!! The exhibit will feature incredible new works from Dan Friday (Lummi), Preston Singletary (Tlingit), and Raven Skyriver (Tlingit). This year we’re proud to be expanding the exhibit to also include gorgeous glass art by Raya Friday (Lummi) and Lillian Pitt (Warm Springs/Wasco/Yakama).
Highlighting the incredible development of Northwest Native Glass Art, Luminosity is a testament to the movement that ties the contemporary medium of glass with the ancient imagery of Native cultures. Artists will be in attendance this evening for the exhibit opening 5-8 pm at Stonington, open as part of the monthly Pioneer Square Art Walk. Join us to see this exciting exhibit.
