In July, 2023 the Town of Oak Island announced an exciting new event to bridge the transition from Summer to Fall, with the first ever Sunset On Summer Music Festival. This event will host multiple bands throughout the entire day; along with: Kids Area , Live DJ , Food Trucks , Craft Beer , Wine , Spirits on Site.

- Landslide (Fleetwood Mac tribute) from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
- 20 Ride (Zac Brown Band tribute) from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
