Check out what's happening this month at the Tempe History Museum! Take a tour of the historic Eisendrath House, learn about our night skies and tune into some rockin' live music. Don't forget - it's your last chance to visit the "50 Years of Tempe Sister Cities" exhibit!

Tempe History Society Lunch Talks

ASU School of Earth and Space Exploration

Wednesday, Oct. 12 at 11:30 a.m.
Tempe History Museum Community Room

Meet students from Arizona State University’s School of Earth and Space Exploration for current events and a guided tour of September night skies. 

Discover ASU’s involvement in present and future NASA missions by leading and building instruments including Mastcam-Z on board the Mars 2020 Perseverance rover. This camera system is commanded by a dedicated team from ASU’s Tempe campus, where the exploration never ends! Come and explore!

PERFORMANCES at the MUSEUM
One Way Sky

Friday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m.
Tempe History Museum Community Room

One Way Sky is a “Chill-Hype” alternative rock band comprised of community members from the Gila River Indian Community and the Tohono O’odham Nation. 

Band members Adrian D Thomas, Cody Bruguier, Loma Manuel, and David Romero, collaborate to blend styles of hard rock, indie, jazz and chill-wave genres. Meet the band in a Q&A session after the show. Free, fun and family friendly. Seating will be limited.

Azure Family Concert with Tetra String Quartet  
Saturday, Oct. 15 at 3 p.m.
Tempe History Museum Community Room

Presented by the Tetra String Quartet, Azure Concerts are fun, friendly, and engaging performances tailored to children and young adults who are on the autism spectrum or have similar challenges.

Azure concerts are approximately 45 minutes in length, followed by an instrument petting zoo. Family members and caregivers of all ages are welcome to attend. All behaviors welcome! This performance features singer songwriter AJ Odneal.
