From: Texas Governor Greg AbbottDear Texas Travel Industry Stakeholders, Small Businesses & Economic Development Partners:
As of September 1, 2022, the application window for the Texas Travel Industry Recovery Grant Program (TTIR) is now open for businesses in Arts, Entertainment & Recreation (NAICS 71). The application window for this category will run through September 22, 2022.
The TTIR Program, launched in July, was established to provide one-time reimbursement grants of up to $20,000 for the recovery of Texas businesses in the tourism, travel and hospitality industries that were negatively impacted due to COVID-19. These one-time grants are to reimburse eligible costs to qualifying businesses.
Due to the size of the industry and the high number of potential applicants, applications are being accepted in phases by industry sector identified by NAICS code. The chart below outlines the application windows for each industry category.
