The Professional Circus Training Program stands as a resounding testament to our mission of cultivating well-rounded, physically adept performers. We've gathered the most frequently asked questions about this transformative program to provide you with all the information you need.
 
What sets this program apart from others? Our program is distinguished by more than just access to our exceptional faculty. We're dedicated to molding you into a well-rounded, multidisciplinary artist, emphasizing collaboration, storytelling, and ensemble building to thrive in diverse artistic settings.

What major/minor subjects can I choose in the acrobatics concentration? Our comprehensive curriculum covers aerial arts, tumbling, partner acrobatics, physical theatre, clowning, dance, and fundamental skills such as conditioning and rigging. Specialized study is available in various disciplines, including trapeze, fabric/silks, rope, and more.

 Who is the ideal candidate for this program? Our program is tailored for dedicated performers who have achieved a high level of skill in areas like strength, aerial performance, clowning, and acting. We seek individuals committed to pushing their limits and excelling in the performing arts.

Is there an application deadline? We accept applications on a rolling basis until the program reaches capacity, typically by early summer.

Is housing available? While we don't provide housing directly, we offer guidance and resources to help you secure suitable accommodations in our area.

What are your facilities like? Our facilities, nestled in the Noyes Cultural Arts Center, include a 3,000 sq. ft. gymnasium with a 1,600 sq. ft. sprung floor and a fully rigged 24-foot ceiling, ideal for acrobatics. Additionally, we have a studio space with a semi-sprung wood floor, gymnastics mats, rigging, and all necessary equipment. Some specialized classes, including clowning, take place in our dedicated clown room.

Does the program provide flexibility for working actors? Yes, our program recognizes the needs of working actors and offers flexibility to accommodate their schedules and professional commitments.
