Responsibilities

The fire marshal works with Hood County fire chiefs to protect firefighters

 and evaluate fire and life safety issues.

Investigations

This office also investigates all fires that result in:

-Any criminal activity

-Fatality

-Insurance fraud

-Loss of property

-Serious injury

Department Goal

The goal of the Hood County fire marshal's office is to provide Hood County effective leadership, coordination, and support for the fire suppression and prevention programs within the county and to reduce life and economic losses due to fire and related emergencies and property losses from disasters.
