Mayoral and Council Election
filing window closes

The filing window for the November 8, 2022 City of Granbury Mayoral and Councilmember Place 2 election closed at 5 p.m. on Monday, August 22. 

For Mayor, incumbent Jim Jarratt and former Mayor Pro Tem Tony Mobly have filed to run. For Place 2 Councilmember, incumbent Eddie Rodriguez and Pat Abell have filed to run. 

A drawing to determine the order in which the names of candidates are to be printed on the ballot will be held at 9 a.m. on August 25 in the City Hall Council Chambers. Both positions are three-year terms.
