The latest on Highways 377 and 51

TxDOT's 2023 Unified Transportation Program, an $85 billion, 10-year statewide roadway construction plan is AT THIS LINK (BIG FILE).Hood County begins on page 88 of the document.
At the bottom of www.Granbury.org is an FAQ section that includes "What is the latest on Highway 377?"  It is updated when the City receives substantial news about 377.
TxDOT reports the repaving of 51 between SH 171 and the Hood County line is on schedule for completion (weather permitting) this fall. Please pay attention to all warning signs within the work zone as crews complete this project as quickly and safely as possible. In 2021, 244 workers and road users were killed in work zones. The leading causes – speeding and driver inattention – are entirely preventable. Protect workers. Protect road users.

Problem on a TxDOT road?

Road needs repair, something on the road, sign, signal or guardrail needs repair, or other issue (not including "Why is it taking so long to rebuild 377?") Report it AT THIS LINK.
