Composites and Constellations, a new exhibition at The Frank Art Gallery, located at 601 City Center Way, will be showcased August 18 through October 8, 2022.  This exhibition celebrates the convergence of ideas and concepts, simulating the recognition of patterns and conceptual lines as a method for interpreting new meanings. The mixed media artworks in the exhibition feature images that lie at the border of the abstract and figurative, featuring blurred identities, reflections, and superimposed images. There are traces and lines that like a palimpsest remain there, as a memory that is being rewritten. Other artworks search for meaning through symbols, gestural traces, celebrating the everyday objects, finding them in unusual places and different contexts, in a connection between past and present. Exhibiting artists include Jason Aponte, Zoraye Cyrus, Diego Gutierrez, Juan Henriquez, Jefreid Lotti, Alex Trimino, and Izel Vargas.

Please join The City of Pembroke Pines and The Frank for the opening reception of Composites and Constellations on August 18, 6 pm to 9 pm. Guests can enjoy classical music strings performance by Florida Youth Orchestra Staff, Brian Mirsky and Eric Berken. Complimentary refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served. Free to the public. Mask-wearing suggested.
