From: The Dancing Rabbit Music Festival

The Dancing Rabbit Music Festival returns with more enthusiasm, bigger songs, and still the best dang street party in Southeast Oklahoma.

This show, like all of our festival shows, is Free! If you are looking for a little extra experience though – don’t forget to check out the additional passes and events this summer!

Schedule:
May 13, 2023
6:00pm: Rayland Baxter with Shawn Mullins & Will Hoge
Once again, our May festival kicks us off as our singer/songwriter show. With a talented mix of performers not afraid to create music in their own style, their own way. All veterans of the industry who have been creating music for years, our May #DRMF is delivering you songs that have a mix of past, present, and even a little bit of futuristic with this group of artists.

June 17, 2023
6:00pm: Hellogoodbye with Good Looks & Future Crib
If we could take the word “FUN” and make it a festival show, it would be this one festival friends. Because that’s the only way we can describe our June 17 show. From the return of our Opening Act, our Youth Open Mic performances, to our lineup of the most entertaining artists McAlester has ever seen, you’re going to be wishing the night would never end.

July 22, 2023
6:00pm: Jason Boland & The Stragglers with Cody Canada & The Departed & Kody West & Red Dirt Rangers
Whether you call it a state of mind, whether you say it’s music with an attitude – you can say it’s just a feelin’ you get when you’re somewhere between Oklahoma and Texas. Whatever it means to you, we’ve got a whole lot of talent and some great Red Dirt Music at this July #DRMF23. We don’t want to define it, we just want to invite you to Choctaw Ave. to experience it. We’ll see you out for a night of Red Dirt and spending it with family and friends!

Date: May 13 - July 22, 2023

Location: Dancing Rabbit Festival Grounds, 340 East Choctaw Avenue McAlester, OK 74501.
