Glen Cove, NY - The Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County (HMTC) strongly condemns the painting of swastikas on trees at the Welwyn Preserve, where our center is located. These symbols were just found this afternoon. This representation of hate and bigotry on our property is a direct attack against all that we stand for and the memory of all Holocaust victims. We ask the community to stand with us in our fight to combat antisemitism, prejudice, racism, and discrimination.
