Meet Fascinating Species in Our New Bi-Lingual Exhibit

Visit a salt marsh in our new bi-lingual exhibit, Life Among the Grasses / La vida entre las gramas!

This new gallery features scenic wall graphics, art, cultural items, and up-close views of animals and plants. Meet fascinating species, like a grass that spits out salt, a fish that can survive dangerously shallow water at low tide, and a turtle that inspired a famous album cover.

Homeschool Day Returns on April 10

Homeschool families can take a special educational dive into the marine world through discounted admission and grade-appropriate programs during “Homeschool Day” on Wednesday, April 10!

This day makes the Aquarium’s traditional school group programs accessible to homeschool families. Students will participate in educational programs led by Aquarium educators, including classroom-based programs for ages 4 & up and storytime in our "Sea & Discover Zone" for kids 5 & under!

Get Involved with These Important Community Science Projects

The diamondback terrapin is a species of special concern in Connecticut. We're looking for volunteers for our Terrapin Tracking Team to help monitor roadways for terrapin mortalities this spring and summer. Join us for a virtual training session on March 28 or April 1 to learn all about data collection and protocols.

This international effort for people to find and document plants and wildlife in cities across the globe is taking place April 26 - 29. Choose from our educator session on March 12 or a session for families and individuals on March 19.

Sign Up Now for Sensory-Friendly Morning

Join us on Saturday, April 6 for a special morning that will give guests with sensory-processing differences a fun, comfortable, and accepting environment to enjoy all the Aquarium has to offer.

From 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., lights will be lower, and music and other sounds will be turned down or off. Plus, we will show movies in our 4D Theater without special effects.

Sessions are Filling Up ... Register Now for Summer Camp

Dive in and explore the fantastic ocean of wonder at our summer camp. Our program integrates science with art and literature to deepen children’s understanding of animals and the environment.

Young campers will explore the wonders of the ocean world through fun stories and games. Older kids will learn how technology and engineering can solve complex environmental problems like water pollution, marine debris, and storm resiliency.
