Hendrickson takes us on a personal journey of the personal dynamics, professional challenges, and complex issues stutterers like him face daily. An account of perseverance, Life on Delay is a narrative about not giving up, and a glimpse into the process of making peace with our past and present selves. John will be joined by 2022 Stowe Prize winner Clint Smith, fellow author and colleague at The Atlantic, who described Life On Delay as a book brimming “with empathy and honesty…It moved me in ways that I haven’t experienced before.
