Princeton, TX - On Thursday, September 8th at 2:00 PM, Brandon Belcher will present “Bringing North Texas Prairies Back to Life” at the Lois Nelson Public Library. The presentation will focus on the importance of incorporating native plants into our landscaping to promote biodiversity within our area. 

Brandon will be representing The Nature Conservancy (TNC) where he currently serves as the North Texas Preserves Manager. 

This event is one of a few environmental education presentations scheduled at the library this fall. About Brandon Belcher 

Brandon Belcher is the North Texas Preserves Manager for The Nature Conservancy. His work centers around protection, management, and restoration of native grassland habitats in the Blackland Prairie Ecoregion. Brandon manages various TNC properties, including Clymer Meadow Preserve. Brandon has a B.S. degree in Wildlife and Conservation Sciences and a M.S. degree in Biology – Plant Ecology from Texas A&M University – Commerce. There, he serves as an adjunct instructor in the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences. He also teaches prairie curriculum for the North Texas and Blackland Prairie chapters of the Texas Master Naturalist program.
