English Language Learning Tutoring

We are excited to announce that the learner waitlist for our one-on-one tutoring program will reopen on Tuesday, December 6 at 10 AM on the ELL webpage.

Our language tutoring program matches adult English learners with volunteer tutors for one-on-one sessions to practice English, learn about the local community, and share cultural knowledge. The learners and tutors meet weekly for one hour for six months in person or online.

Volunteers are fluent or native English language speakers with tutor training, but are not professional teachers. The program is limited to the residents of Brookline or the Greater Boston Area. A six-month commitment is required. If you have any questions, email the ELL coordinators at [email protected] or call 617-730-2369.
