Earth Month has officially begun at The Umbrella with Reflections: Listening to Nature, now open in the Main Gallery!

With submissions from people of all ages and abilities, Reflections is the community's response to how the arts help us listen and learn about the natural world around us.

MIDDLETON HEIGHTS OPENS TO A SOLD OUT HOUSE!
Middleton Heights made its mark on The Umbrella this past weekend with two sold-out shows, a beautiful pre-show performance by the Iskwelahang Pilipino (IP) Rondalla Ensemble and a fascinating Playwright and Director talk-back hosted by Trish Fontanilla of BosFilipinos.

Hailed as one of "13 fresh theater productions to see this spring" (WBUR Artery), and "a poignant story of the quest for the American Dream" (Boston Globe), performances of Middleton Heights resume TONIGHT. Tickets are going fast and - get yours now before they sell out!

Earth Month Free Family Drop-in Workshop
On Saturday, April 8 from 12pm - 2pm, drop by any time during the two-hour time block to partake in an arts & environment-related craft led by our talented instructors!

This month, learn how to build Earth Float bases for the 2023 Earth Day Celebration with Science Teacher, Steve Lechner!

Our next artist talk, "Is that a poem I Hear?", features Umbrella Studio Artist and fiber artist, Max Payne.

Join us on Thursday, April 13 at 4pm, as Max talks about her pieces and shares the connection she makes between the visual and the word in her work. Free and open to the public in the Dance Studio!

Stand Up for Ellen is a free event celebrating the 200th Birthday of Concord's native daughter, educator and activist Ellen Garrison.

For the first time in 200 years, on April 14, 2023, Concord will publicly honor and celebrate the birth of one of its most inspirational daughters, Ellen Garrison and showcase the 1841 visit of Frederick Douglass to Concord!
Suitable for all ages. Presented by the Robbins House and first official event of Concord 250 Celebration.
