Theatre West - Ike and Veteran's Day!

Arts and Entertainment

November 10, 2022

From: Theatre West

Who established Veteran’s Day?

Previously, November 11 was a legal holiday known as Armistice Day honoring the end of World War 1 and paying tribute to the veterans of that war.  President Eisenhower signed the legislation to expand the significance of that commemoration to honor “the veterans of ALL its wars who have contributed so much
to the preservation of this Nation."
on June 1, 1954.

Don't miss the show that Entertainment Today said:

"It is a historic masterpiece from playwright Richard Hellesen… Moral Courage radiates through John Rubinstein’s  brilliant portrayal… a skillfully-crafted piece under the direction of Ellenstein… packed with emotional depth, Rubinstein commands the stage with a powerful presence… a show that could go straight to Broadway…”
