The Town of Boxborough is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Community Services Coordinator. The Coordinator provides referrals and programming that supports the town’s residents who are in need of social services.

The Town is seeking an individual with experience in social work, or closely related field; plus, three years of case work experience in a social service agency, health care facility or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful applicant is anticipated to assist in the design of new programs to meet community needs as identified.

Candidates shall be knowledgeable in human service needs and resources; familiar with statutes, regulations and practices relating to human services; preserve confidentiality; exercise independent judgment and empathic. A valid driver’s license and a Social worker, or provisional license issued by the State Board of Examiners for Social Workers. The Community Services Coordinator will be expected to work in partnership with the Council on Aging Coordinator.  

Position is 25 hours per week. Salary range, $29.44 – $40.58/hour DOQE, with benefits.
