Boxborough, MA (pop 5,500+/-) seeks Town Planner who also acts as Director of new Office of Land Use & Permits.  Oversees implementation and evolution of the Master Plan, researches and recommends zoning bylaws to reflect the same and the evolving market and practice, conducts plan review for local permitting action and compliance with the same, supports a wide variety of land use boards and efforts.  Successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in regional planning, landscape architecture, or a related field and five years of experience, preferably in a municipal planning office in an actively engaged community, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.  Preference given to those with advanced education and AICP Certification.
