The Parks & Recreation Administrative Assistant performs administrative/clerical work; oversees and administers day-to-day activities and functions of the Parks and Recreation Office. This position requires someone who works cooperatively and effectively with the public and other employees in a very busy and sometimes stressful environment. Serves as the primary assistant to the Parks and Recreation Director.
Qualifications and Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required. Two (2) years’ experience in administrative and general office work involving contact with the public. Must have strong communication skills. Ability to work in fast paced environment and manage multiple projects. Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office, website management and social media. Accurately prepare letters, reports, and records. Must have valid Driver's license.
