Town Of Concord News : Council To Consider Federal Funding Allocations

Government and Politics

September 24, 2022

From: City of Concord

At its next regular meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 27, the Concord City Council will consider how to allocate $19 million in federal funding from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).

In April, the Council received a full report detailing the results from extensive community outreach in which Concord residents and businesses were asked how the City should invest these funds. Following that meeting, the Council decided to create an ad hoc committee that considered the feedback and all possible options to support the community’s biggest priorities.

On Sept. 27, the ad hoc will make a recommendation to the full Council, and the Council is expected to vote on the funding allocations.

The Council agenda, staff report, and supporting documents are now available on the city's website

Members of the public may participate in the meeting in person at City Hall or via Zoom. For more information, please visit www.cityofconcord.org/ARPA
