Sandbags available in Prescott Valley for monsoon storms

The monsoon season has arrived in Prescott Valley, and storms can be sudden and unpredictable. If you have vulnerable areas around your home, sandbags can protect your property in the event of a flood.

Bags and sand are now available at the Central Arizona Fire & Medical Authority Station 53, 8555 E. Yavapai Rd. (access the parking lot off Bob Drive). Sand and bags are free of charge, but residents must bring a shovel and fill the provided bags.
