Town Of Webster News -Cyanobacteria Bloom in South Pond

The Webster Health Department is issuing a Public Health Advisory regarding a cyanobacteria Harmful Algae Bloom. Based on the location of the bloom, the Advisory is for South Pond portion of Webster Lake. 

It is advised to avoid all recreational activities involving contact with the water in that section of Webster Lake. The algae bloom will be monitored by the Health Department and MA Department of Public Health. 

As a reminder: When in doubt, stay out!
