Congratulations to the December 2022 Employee Excellence Award Winner Officer Tomasz Tepper!

The Employee Excellence Award Committee is pleased to present the December 2022 Excellence Award to Officer Tomasz Tepper.

Officer Tepper has provided a high level of service to the Police Department and the citizens of Westborough.

Recently while providing extra patrol, Officer Tepper located a vehicle involved in a deadly auto-pedestrian accident that took the life of a young woman.  In addition to locating the vehicle, Officer Tepper located a key witness who identified the driver in the accident. Officer Tepper showed his initiative and commitment to the job recalling information provided in roll call and previous shifts to locate the vehicle and suspect.

In addition, Officer Tepper's commitment to the Town and the Police Department also shows in his everyday efforts, he is continually one of the top performers in the department and is a member of the department’s crime scene unit.  He meticulously examines and processes crime scenes, collecting vital evidence for cases of all types.

Officer Tepper recently shared his knowledge of crime scene processing at the monthly breakfast with the Chief event held at the Senior Center.
