Live Walking Tour of Lisbon Holiday Lights and Traditions

Monday, December 12, 1:00-2:00 on Zoom

Walk through downtown Lisbon to see the city's beautiful Christmas lights and learn about Portuguese Christmas traditions. Contact the COA at 781-786-6280 to register. 

Cooking Class: Dim Sum Delights
Tuesday, December 13, 11:00-1:00 at the COA
The Chinese tradition of dim sum dates back to the days of the Silk Road. In this hands-on cooking class, you will learn to make classic dishes from the dim sum menu. Beginning with Chinese barbeque pork puffs, their tender crusts and mouth-watering filling will make you swoon. Next, we’ll make scallion flower rolls. These fluffy buns are works of art and fun to make. At the end of class, we will get to enjoy our creations together. Registrations closed on 12/9 - if you are interested in joining the class, please call the COA for space: 781-786-9280. Cost: $20

Holiday Handbells Concert
with the Lincoln Hand Bell Ringers
Thursday, December 15, 2:00-3:00 at the COA
The Lincoln Hand Bell Ringers will bring an enchanting combination of precision and magic to their performance while director Diane Burke provides fascinating context and background about holiday pieces both familiar and new. Seating is limited and reservations are appreciated. Contact the COA at 781-786-6280 to register.

Jazz at the COA
Last week, the Cambridge School of Weston Harmonics, a small group of talented CSW student musicians committed to expanding live music in the community, treated us to an impressive jazz concert on a rainy afternoon!

Vaccination Clinic

The Health Departments of Weston and Wayland are coordinating an  "oh shoot, I didn't get vaccinated yet" clinic in Wayland! 

Location: Wayland Town Building, 41 Cochituate Road, Wayland (this is not far from Weston, just down Boston Post Road (Rt. 20))
Hours: 3-6 PM
Date: Thursday, December 15, 2022
We are offering: 

- Bivalent Pfizer ages 12 years+ against COVID-19

- Bivalent Moderna ages 6 years+ against COVID-19

- Seasonal flu vaccine ages 6 mo+ (including high-dose for ages 65 years+)
