Assistant Director of Public Works

The Town of Wilton is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Director of Public Works. The successful candidate will assist the Director of Public Works in the management of all areas, with an emphasis on Town Building Facilities, including but not limited to building maintenance, building improvements, and site improvements, energy management, budget preparations, management and creation of a capital improvement plan, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) code compliance, regulatory issues and utilities with a goal of ensuring that all physical facilities meet the highest standards of maintenance, safety, cleanliness and appropriateness for the educational and public activities they are meant to support. The successful candidate will be responsible for Board of Education Facilities Capital Improvement Projects and assume responsibility for the Department of Public Works in the absence of the Director.
