Matt is a former elected member and chair of the Bethel Board of Education and served while Wilton’s Superintendent Kevin Smith was employed by the Bethel Public Schools. Matt’s private sector experience includes progressive advancement to executive level positions with Fujifilm USA.

First Selectwoman Lynne Vanderslice noted Matt stood out among other candidates due to his breadth of knowledge, experience and his relationships with elected and non-elected municipal leaders throughout the state.
