2nd Annual Woodbridge Like Me Day

The ad hoc Woodbridge Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee will hold its 2nd Annual Woodbridge Like Me Day on Sunday, October 9 from 11 am - 2 pm on the Town Center Green. Monday, October 10 will be the rain date. 

This free community event features live performances, a community mural project, local organizations, music, food trucks and more, and is a celebration of our vibrant and diverse Woodbridge community. Prior to the start of this event, new residents are invited to a New Resident Welcome meet-up on the Town Green at 10:30 am. The meet-up is organized by the ad hoc Woodbridge Community Council.

About 25 organizations will participate in the event this year with a line-up of five performances to take place at the Gazebo on the Town Green. Featured in the  photo is Aiping Tai Chi from last year’s event. Approximate activity and performance times are noted below. 

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee looks forward to seeing everyone at the event!   

10:30 am: New Resident Welcome Meet-up hosted by the ad hoc Woodbridge Community Council.

11:00 am:  Community Mural, Face-Painting, & Henna Art activities will take place throughout the event. 

11:45 am: Aiping Tai Chi

12:00 pm: WuDang Kung Fu Academy 

12:30 pm: Butterfly Chinese Dance Troupe

1:00 pm: World Champion Taekwondo

1:30 pm:  Interfaith Choir
