Registration for each category and race will close 15 minutes prior to race start.

Short Track (STXC) Details
Short track is fast paced racing, multiple laps of a condensed course for a short time. Our course will be just under 1 mile in length and is about 1/3 singletrack, the remainder of the course is in an open grass area or on the Tuthill sledding hill.

Juniors will have a shortened course with less elevation gain per lap.

The Kids race at 2pm will take place on the Empire section of singletrack in the lower area of Tuthill Park. This section of singletrack is approachable for all ages and has minimal elevation gain.

Hillclimb Details

This is as it sounds. A race up the Tuthill Sledding hill, bottom to top as fast as you can!

Riders will be chosen randomly to race heats and work down to finals championship bracket style. Number of riders in each heat and number of heats required is dependent on registration and final details will be given out at the required 5:30pm rider meeting at the start of the hillclimb. Riders will only race up the hill with other riders in their category, the order of heats will be selected to allow riders time to recover between runs up the hill.

Juniors will have a finish closer to the base of the hill.

Omnium Scoring Details
Omnium PTS will follow the scale below
1st - 20
2nd - 18
3rd - 16
4th - 14
5th - 12
6th - 10
7th - 8
8th - 6
9th - 4
10th - 2
11th - 1
12th - 1
DNF/DNS - 0

Riders must register for the Omnium to be scored but do not need to start each event of the omnium. Events that are not started will be scored at 0 points.
