Welcome New Member Boyer CPR/FirstAid
RSVP FOR FREE! Join us as we welcome new member Boyer CPR/First Aid
Boyer CPR/FirstAid is a small, locally owned business specializing in CPR and first aid training with the goal of providing the community with the skills necessary to be able to act and make a difference in the event of an emergency. They believe in training and practicing these skills knowing that when the time comes to use them, it will not be the time you choose, but you will be ready. To make their services more accessible, they offer to come to your location, making it more convenient for businesses and groups. However, if you prefer, an alternative location, such as a local conference center, can be arranged.
During the classes, they cover vital skills, such as how to manage an emergency, adult, CPR, use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator), relief of choking, the use of emergency medications, general wound care, and stop the bleed procedures. They also offer courses in pet CPR and First Aid to teach you the skills to protect your cats and dogs.
Please take a look at their website, www.boyercpr.com, to see everything they offer and let them know how they may be of service to you or your business!
We hope to see owner Patrick Boyer at our upcoming events. Welcome!

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Windows Server 2012 Approaching End-of-Life
Start Planning Server Migration Now
A message from Michelle Carlow of URCC member CTS Services, Inc.
508-528-7720
It seems like just yesterday we were helping clients migrate from Windows Server 2008 – and that was in 2012! It's that time again!
And for those organizations still running old server/and workstation operating systems that we don’t manage -- If you continue to use an unsupported version of Windows, your systems will still work, but they become more vulnerable to security risks and viruses and could potentially void your cyber insurance coverage.
Now, Microsoft has announced the end-of-life for Windows Server 2012 and 2012R, with two separate migration paths, depending on what you are running.
So, let’s work together on a smooth migration for you.
We have been discussing the migration to Windows Server 2019 and Windows Server 2022 with many clients, yet if we have not had this discussion with you, let’s get the process started so there are no interruptions to your business.
How Long Will Server 2012 R2 Be Supported?
We recommend that you upgrade as soon as possible. The support for Windows Server 2012 R2 will end on October 10, 2023. After this date, Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 will stop receiving regular patches and critical security updates. Aside from the approaching end-of-life date, it makes sense to migrate as Windows Server 2019 and 2022 offer greater security and flexibility, including server hardware improvements, storage enhancements, platform improvements, and improved Azure capabilities.
There are several steps involved in a successful migration, and a few considerations, including:
Third-party compatibility
Cloud services
Hardware and software licensing requirements
We are here to support you in migrating to Windows Server 2019. Please email us at [email protected]
Let's get this on your "whiteboard list" of IT priorities.
