United Way Of Greater Nashua Nor'easter - Run | Walk

Clubs and Organizations

January 25, 2023

From: United Way of Greater Nashua

Dear Friends of United Way,

Embrace the winter weather by signing up for our upcoming Nashua Nor'easter Run / Walk / Drive taking place from February 26th to March 4th. Runners, walkers, and participants in vehicles may choose a 5k, 10k,1/2 marathon, or marathon course at any time between those dates. One of the big goals is to raise funds for the Community Safety Net so your participation, whether it's walking, running, or driving does good for others in any setting.

While shaking off the winter blues, you can learn more about the many non-profit partners who are highlighted on each course. You complete your chosen course at your convenience, and competition via self-reported times and a selfie contest adds extra fun. Get moving and raise funds for the United Way Community Safety Net, which supports the many needs of our community.

How YOU Can Help the Nashua Nor'easter Without Participating

The drive option means (almost) everyone can participate but there are other ways to assist this effort without registering yourself.

- Be a Donor Angel by supporting someone who is registered and contribute to their fundraising efforts. https://fundraise.givesmart.com/vf/nashnoreaster23

- Share Nashua Nor'easter posts by following us on FB/IG and liking, commenting, and sharing them. Facebook Instagram

- Connect nonprofit friends of yours with UWGN staff to learn more about how they can fundraise through this event and/or through Over the Edge in June. Have them email [email protected] to start the discussion.

Training Tip of the Week

Sponsored by Bar Harbor Bank & Trust

Walking or running in the winter is still exercise and you should remember to use sunblockprotect your eyes with sunglasses (especially with the added glare of snow), and Hydration is Critical! Poor hydration lessens your balance and can increase the chance of slips and falls, inside or outside, any time of the year.
