The Department of Environmental Protection announces receipt of an application for permit from City of Milton for modification to the permitted land application, 1.256 MGD of reclaimed water to rapid infiltration basins (RIBs) and slow rate restricted public access sprayfield. The proposed RIBs and sprayfield will be located approximately at latitude 30° 39’12” N, longitude 86° 58’ 20”, north of East Milton Rd, Milton, Florida 32572 in Santa Rosa County. The Department has assigned permit file number FLA753335-003-DW1R to the proposed project. 

This application is being processed and is available for public inspection during normal business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays, at the Department's Northwest District Office, 160 W. Government Street, Suite 308, Pensacola, Florida 32502-5740, at phone number (850)595-8300. The files are also available electronically from the Department’s Electronic Document Search Portal http://prodenv.dep.state.fl.us/DepNexus/public/searchPortal using Application Number FLA753335003. Any comments or objections should be filed in writing with the Department at this address or email to [email protected]. Comments or objections should be submitted as soon as possible to ensure that there is adequate time for them to be considered in the Department's decision on the application. The comment period is for 30 days, the first day of which was Monday, October 3, 2022, ending on November 2, 2022.
