The UMVA's Midcoast Juried Winter Exhibition will be up until this Friday, February 24th. 

This highly-successful exhibit features 54 pieces of art by 28 mid-coast artists, including a wide variety of paintings, photography, monoprints, mixed media, and sculpture.

Gallery Hours are Tuesday-Friday, 10am to 5pm

David Estey, well-known Belfast abstract-expressionist painter and juror of our current UMVA exhibit, will present about the artwork in the current show. Estey will explain his unusual curatorial process, share images of the works, comment on each artist’s submissions, and invite comments from the artists and questions from the audience.

The event is FREE and will stream live on Zoom.

Join us Friday, February 24, 12 noon - 1PM for a Brown Bag Lunch with artist Kelly Desrosiers. Bring your lunch, bring your smile, bring you! Casual, drop in, everyone welcome.

Kelly will talk about her process and her art practice. She'll also discuss the work showing in our Clifford Gallery as part of the UMVA Midcoast Juried Winter Exhibition and how her science background influences her art making. A Q&A will follow and we’ll wrap up by 1PM.
