Wave Hill x Dance Heginbotham
October 25, 2023

The Wave Hill grounds have inspired choreographer John Heginbotham during a two-week creative residency, influencing the development of his newest piece, You Look Like A Fun Guy. The piece, inspired by John Cage’s interest in mycology and his methods of composing music, gives movement to the astonishing nature and behavior of fungi. Following a free public presentation of the work in process in early October, Dance Heginbotham return on October 25, 2023 for Fungi Fête, an imaginative and sensory evening devoted to the mushroom.
