Arts and Entertainment

April 21, 2023

From: Wave Hill Public Garden and Cultural Center

Arbor Weekend
April 28, 29, 30

Next weekend, celebrate the trees in our gardens and neighborhoods with walks, art-making, mini sessions of forest bathing, a cooking demo, kid-friendly activities and more! By popular demand, arborists from Almstead Tree, Shrub & Lawn Care return this spring to host a family-favorite activity, the Junior Arborist Station. Go home with a tree seedling for your yard or community garden—while supplies last—courtesy of our friends at Almstead.

Special Opportunity on Friday, April 28! Join a Specimen Tree Resiliency Walk with Director of Horticulture Cathy Deutsch to hear first-hand about the cutting-edge strategies that are used to help bolster the health of Wave Hill’s most beloved trees. Registration required for this program.

All activities on Saturday and Sunday are free with admission!
